Lynelle Kendall’s Literary Milestones and Achievements

Lynelle’s work has been recognised and celebrated in competitions Australia wide. As an internationally published, award winning author, she continues to write stories and poetry for children to inspire the next generation to love books and storytelling in all it’s forms.

‘Stories of Imagination: A Collection of Stories and Poems’ showcases her ability to connect with children through the power of imagination. Packed with stories, poems, book recommendations, questions and activities, ‘Stories of Imagination’ is the perfect read aloud for children 5-7. It is Lynelle’s first book, published in 2024.

Her achievements include

  • Shortlisted in the Northern Territory Literary Awards
  • Placed Second in the CYA Competition – Chapter Books for Young Readers category
  • Placed Third in the CYA Competition – Chapter Books for Young Readers category
  • Winner of the Gove Peninsular Writing Competition
  • Commended in the Tabor Creative Writing Competition
  • First runner up in the picture book section of Kids Book Review Unpublished Manuscript Award
  • Second Place in the Mulga Bill Writing Competition – for the poem ‘Zenadth Kes Arrival’
  • Recipient of an ArtsNT Professional Development Grant.
