Conferences for Children’s Writers and Illustrators

Writing conferences are a wonderful way to connect with fellow writers, network with publishing professionals and learn more about the craft of writing. Some even provide opportunities to polish a work in progress with a mentor or pitch your completed manuscript to publishers.

In Australia there are several annual conferences that are specifically focused on writing for children. Here are some of the biggest and best listed in no particular order.
