ABOUT LYNELLE KENDALL
Early childhood educator and Children’s Author who lives in North Queensland.
She writes stories of imagination, discovery and adventure for children under ten.
Lynelle is passionate about early literacy and sharing her love of children’s literature with young readers, writers, parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators.
Her poetry, picture books, short stories and junior fiction have a delightful mix of humour, enchantment and adventure.
Her characters include a bumbling crew of pirates, a hyperactive mouse, a group of dinosaur circus performers, an ambitious robot, a fairy with attitude and children who discover magical creatures in their own backyard.
Lynelle believes a special kind of magic happens when stories are shared and that children’s books play a vital role in winning the next generation over to a love of reading.
She’s seen this magic in her own life and the lives of children around her.
Lynelle Kendall’s books include ‘Stories of Imagination: A Collection of Stories and Poems’ for children aged 5-7 and ‘Grabble the Dinosaur’ a fun picture book for children aged 3-5.
